Clearing Up Voter Confusion: My Complete Street by Street Ward 1 Boundary Guide
With the upcoming election around the corner and new ward lines in effect for this cycle, so many folks have reached out wondering whether they’re still in Ward 1 or if their street got shifted. Nobody should have to guess who represents their neighbourhood or where their vote counts. To help clear up the confusion, I put together a simple, alphabetical street guide covering every road, avenue, and boundary line in Ward 1.
From Austin Street North and Bay Street over to Muskoka Bay Boulevard, Wharf Road, and Winewood Avenue West, this guide lays it all out clearly. If you live along tricky cutoff lines like Muldrew Lake Road North near Carrick Trail or Muskoka Road 169 near Musquash Road, you can check your exact house number and see right away where you stand.
“Voting should be straightforward, but boundary shifts have left a lot of our neighbours unsure about who is on their ballot. I wanted to take the guesswork out of it so everyone in our community can make their voice heard this October. If you’re ever unsure about your line or house number, reach out anytime. I’m always happy to look it up for you.”Gordie Merton
